cheba pasteup
one of the things i love about pasteups is the fact they get into such weird palces. This directly above my head, standing on some manky concrete stairs by a carpark.

half finished
I love seeing graff when it's halfway through. Was gushing like the fangirl I am in the park yesterday - being ridiculous as usual - "I *love* your work!!"

Interingness re the latest banksy piece in Bristol - the Council are asking the public whether to keep it or not (here), which i thought was kind of cool, except it's typical Council, refusing to take a decision themselves - and it was pointed out that it's separating banksy from other graff artists in town - he's famous, keep it - prosecute everyone else. Still, it's very amusing - it's been picked up in the papers (well, the Metro, a free paper), and it was on the BBC news this morning (article here). And isn't there still an arrest warrant out on him in the city?

blue stencil
there are a load of these stencils right next to the banksy piece.
It was good to see the Newcastle graff - very different style to Bristol - Bristol's is much more fluid and colourful.
My set of newcastle graff lives here

Up in the NorthEast for a few days - so there'll be an interlude of non-Bristol graff. I love this little stencil, makes me think of suffragettes

heart of graff
started a new set of graff on flickr, from June 2006. It'll probably run to the end of the year.... not much in it right now, but I'm sure it'll grow
